Our story
I’m Ann Johnson, the maker behind The Lavender Seal. I began pouring soy candles for friends and charities after seeking carefully chosen Clean Scents™ fragrance oils and a fuller scent experience. My candles use a 10% fragrance load, and my reed diffusers can use up to 25%. When people began asking for more, this small project grew into a way to meet others at local markets and help them find a scent that feels personal to their home.
The places behind the fragrances
Some scents take me somewhere specific. Hammond recalls berry picking on the land where I grew up in northern New York. Petrolia carries the warmth of childhood summers near orchards and meadows in Northern California. Waikiki Beach holds the ocean air and restorative moments from visits to Oʻahu. These memories became the beginning of my Places Collection, alongside familiar favorites I still make.
